"J-kNee January's vocals are nicely centered in the mix here, especially on "What I Could Give You," and inflections recall early No Doubt."
- Music Connection
"Painting with an abstract of influences including 1970-80s punk, straight forward rock with down and dirty blues, January have made it work and work well…think T. Rex with a little Thin Lizzy and Veruca Salt fronted by Ani DiFranco."

About
The Januariez are an alchemy of rock, punk, metal, blues and funk. Guitarist and principle songwriter J-knee January met Gorilla J. (bass) and Reno (drummer) in March 2011, while she was performing at an open mic north of Seattle. After joining her onstage for a few songs, she knew they were the ones. "They intuited the songs," she recalls, "so I asked them to join." Two months later, The Januariez were born.
